NEW RELEASE: Match your contact’s social media profiles via Twitter and more!

We have a few new exciting updates that I want to share on behalf of our awesome dev team. As you know, we recently launched our new user interface with tons of big changes (watch the tour). Many of our new releases below add to the new user interface to optimize your experience.

Here’s my favorite, it’s huge! …. Match your contacts via Twitter handles
When you send us a list of twitter handles in a csv file, we’ll match them to find what other social networks they are on, include demographics, bios, and add them as contacts in attentively. This means your not dependent on just using emails to gain the social media profile of your supporters. In our next release, you’ll be able to import your Twitter handles directly from your account through a csv file. How cool is that!

Hmmm, did that import work? More error checking for file imports.
When you import a csv, we’ll verify the uploaded file is in fact a csv file and that the header (first line) contains the correct columns. If it wasn’t formatted correctly, it will show a useful error messaging like the one below.

Ignore single recommendations & posts
You can now ignore a single post in a “recommendation”, ignore an entire recommendation, or close a recommendation modal without performing an action (i.e. via “X” in upper right corner). This option will appear at the bottom of the recommendations page like the one below.

Mass Follow check/uncheck people

Our latest release simply had a “confirm” button for following all contacts in the recommendation, which was a bit limiting from the previous UI. This update reinstates the ability for users to check and uncheck individual contacts.

Recommendations don’t show error if you leave page before it’s loaded
If you ever tried going to another page before the recommendations on the Dashboard was done loading, you’d get an annoying error page. We had a little chat with the error page, so you can now leave the page without any hassle.

Contacts page continues to Klout < 55 when Klout filter is active
On the contacts page, if the Klout filter is set, it will no longer show contacts that have a lower Klout score than specified by the filter.

Just let me know if you have any questions about our latest release. I’m also happy to set up a call to help you get the most from Attentive.ly.

Thank you,
Jeanette
